Request a custom domain (CNAME)
You can request a fully custom domain for your workspace via a CNAME record instead of using a subdomain. This article covers requesting a custom domain.
Requesting a domain
- Go to Admin Console → Workspace → Branding tab.
- Click the CNAME setup control next to the workspace subdomain field.
- Enter your domain (e.g.
review.yourcompany.com) — it must be a valid external domain; the platform's own domains aren't allowed. - Click Submit request.
Your team's DNS records are then configured by edoro's team, typically within 2–3 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation once your domain is live.
Status
The custom domain shows one of three states:
- Not requested — no domain submitted yet.
- Requested (pending) — submitted, awaiting setup.
- Active — live and working. From here you can click Request change to submit a new domain, which restarts the process.
note
Requesting a custom domain may be gated by your plan. If it's locked, an upgrade prompt is shown instead of the request form.
