Customize email template design (font, size, colors, branding)
Beyond the content, an email template's visual design -- font, size, colors, and branding -- can also be customized. This article covers editing an email template's design.
These controls live in the brand strip at the top of the template editor (Admin Console → Mail Settings → Email Templates → open a template).
Branding controls
| Control | Options |
|---|---|
| Logo & Name | Click the logo tile to upload an image; type a brand name next to it |
| Font | Inter, Geist, Roboto, Poppins, or Montserrat |
| Body size | S / M / L |
| Headline size | M / L / XL |
| Logo size | S / M / L |
| Button colour | Colour wheel, hex input, or a set of presets |
By default, the brand name and logo shown here fall back to your workspace's Whitelabel branding (see Set up whitelabel branding) — changing them here overrides that fallback for this template only.
Advanced options
Expand the Advanced section (hidden for a few templates like Password Reset) to toggle what's shown in the email:
- Asset thumbnail — not available on the task-related templates
- Reviewer names
- Due date
You can also add an Additional note — free text shown near the bottom of the email.
Saving
Click Save to persist your design changes, or Reset to restore the template's default design and content together.
