Create and manage tags, merge duplicate tags
Tags help you label and filter projects and assets across the workspace. This article covers creating tags and merging duplicates.
Manage tags from Admin Console → Tags. The table lists every tag with its slug, description, color, and usage count (how many items it's applied to), and can be searched or sorted by name or usage.
Creating a tag
- Click New Tag.
- Enter a Display name (up to 64 characters) and, optionally, a Description (up to 255 characters).
- Pick a Color — use the swatch's native color picker, type a hex value, or (in supporting browsers) use the eyedropper tool. A random unused color from the tag palette is pre-selected for you.
- Confirm to create the tag. Tag names must be unique across the workspace.
Editing a tag
Click the pencil icon on a tag's row to reopen the same form and update its name, color, or description.
Merging duplicate tags
- Click the merge icon (branch icon) on the tag you want to merge away.
- Search for and select the tag to merge it into.
- Confirm. Every project and document tagged with the source tag is retagged with the target tag, and the source tag is removed.
Deleting a tag
Click the trash icon on a tag's row and confirm. This removes the tag from every project and document it's applied to.
