Viewing your project's timeline
The timeline is a Gantt-style view of your projects, folders, assets, and tasks laid out against a schedule. This article covers opening and reading the timeline view.
Opening the timeline
- From the main sidebar, click Timeline to see a workspace-wide view of every project you have access to.
- From inside a project, open the Timeline tab to see just that project's schedule.
Both views require the "Timeline" permission on your role.
Reading the view
The left-hand grid lists rows in a tree — Name, Start, and Due columns — and the right-hand panel draws each row as a bar across the schedule. Rows are color-coded by type:
- Project — blue
- Folder — indigo
- Asset — red
- Task — amber
Click a row's name to expand or collapse its children. Click a bar itself (not the row name) to open that project, asset, or task in its own page — hold Ctrl/Cmd while clicking to open it in a new tab instead.
The Name and Start/Due columns can be resized by dragging their edges.
