Navigating between time windows

The timeline opens on an eight-month window centered on today — two months back and six months ahead. This article covers moving that window forward and back.

Steps

1. Open Timeline. The current window is shown in the toolbar (for example, "Jun 2026 – Jan 2027").
2. Click the back arrow (◄) to shift the window three months earlier, or the forward arrow (►) to shift it three months later.
3. Once you've moved away from today, a Today button appears next to the arrows — click it to jump straight back to the original window.

Each shift reloads the tasks and dependencies that fall inside the new window, so the arrows may briefly show a loading state while the data refreshes.
