Setting a project's access level and guest login

A shared project's access level determines what visitors can see, and guest login can require visitors to identify themselves. This article covers these settings.

Access level

  1. Open the project and go to its Share section, then expand Access.
  2. Under "Who can access", choose one:
    • Anyone with the link — public; anyone with the URL can view.
    • Only invited reviewers — only people who received an invite email for the project.
    • Only people in this workspace — blocks all external/guest access.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Guest login

When access is set to Anyone with the link, a Guest authentication control appears with three options:

  • Off — visitors open the link with no login step.
  • Email code — visitors must enter their email and confirm a code before viewing.
  • Password — visitors must enter a password you set; type it into the field that appears when you select this option.

Changing guest authentication doesn't change who's allowed in — it only adds a step before the link opens for guests. It has no effect when access is set to "Only invited reviewers" or "Only people in this workspace", since those levels have no anonymous-guest path in the first place.
