Regenerate a proof's share link

If a proof's share link is compromised or needs to be reset, you can regenerate it. This article covers regenerating a share link and what happens to old links.

Steps​

  1. Open the asset and go to its Share tab, then expand Access.
  2. Next to the Public link field, click the reset icon.

What happens​

  • A new link is generated immediately, replacing the old one.
  • The old link stops working right away — anyone still holding it gets an inactive-link message instead of the asset.
  • Existing invitees and their permissions are unaffected. Only the link itself changes, so people who reach the asset through a personal invite (rather than the public link) aren't disrupted.
