Viewing task and board activity history

Every change to a task or board is recorded in an activity history. This article covers viewing that history.

Opening the board activity log

1. Open a board.
2. Click the history icon (next to the view toggle) to open Board Activity.

The panel lists every event on the board — newest first, grouped by day ("Today", "Yesterday", or the date) — including boards and lists being created, tasks being created, completed, reopened, updated, moved, or deleted, assignees added or removed, and checklist items being added, completed, reopened, or deleted. Each entry shows the actor's initials, name, and the time of the event.

Task-level changes (title/priority/date edits, assignment changes, checklist activity, and so on) all surface here against the task they belong to, so this one panel covers both board-wide and per-task history.

Filtering and loading more

• Use the Filter activity… search box to narrow the list to events matching text in the description or the actor's name.
• Click Load more at the bottom of the list to fetch older events; the event count in the header shows the total available.
