Uploading and managing proof versions

A proof can have multiple versions as work is revised. This article covers uploading a new version and managing the version history.

Uploading a new version

  1. Open the asset and choose Upload new version.
  2. In the dialog, either:
    • Drop a file or click to browse to upload a revised file, or
    • Record screen to capture a new version directly (with pause/resume and a preview before you confirm).
  3. Add a version comment describing what changed, if you'd like.
  4. Confirm to upload as the next version (e.g. v2, v3, ...).

If the new version needs its own review workflow — a different project, template, or reviewers than the current one — Edoro routes you to the full Upload assets flow to set that up. The current version stays untouched until you finish there; once you do, the proof shows the new version under its new workflow.

Reviewing version history

Open the Comments tab on the asset to see a row of version tabs (v1, v2, ...) plus an All tab, each showing how many comments belong to it. Select a version tab to see only the comments left on that version.

Carrying comments forward

When a newer version has unresolved comments waiting on an older one, a banner offers to carry them forward — see Carry proof comments forward to a new version for details.
