Lock a proof version from further edits
Locking a proof version prevents further changes or new versions from being uploaded over it. This article covers locking and unlocking a version.
Locking a version
- Open the asset and select the version you want to lock.
- Choose Lock version.
- Confirm the dialog: once locked, comments and reviewer decisions on that version can no longer be changed.
Unlocking a version
You can unlock a locked version at any time from the same place you locked it, to allow further comments and decisions again.
Requirements
You need the Manage asset permission to lock or unlock a version.
