Leave an audio comment on a proof

Reviewers can record a spoken audio comment directly on a proof instead of typing. This article covers recording and attaching an audio comment.

Recording an audio comment

1. Open the Comments tab on the proof and click the microphone icon in the comment composer's toolbar to start recording.
2. While recording, you can pause/resume or discard the recording and start again.
3. Once you stop, the recording appears in the composer with a waveform and playback controls so you can review it before sending.
4. Optionally add typed text alongside the recording, then click Comment to post it.

Playing back an audio comment

Audio comments appear in the comment feed with a waveform player. Click to play, and use the scrubber to jump to a specific point in the recording.

Requirements

You need the Add comment permission to leave an audio comment.
