Creating a new project
Projects are the main container for organizing your files, tasks, and proofs in Edoro. This article covers creating a new project and the basic options available when you do.
Creating the project
- From the Projects grid, click New Project (or press N).
- Fill in:
- Project Name (required) — checked live against your other projects; if the name is taken, a suggested alternative is offered.
- Description — optional.
- Due Date — optional.
- Under Additional Settings (can be filled in later), you can also set:
- Project Schema — attaches a set of custom fields to the project. See Applying a project details schema to a project.
- Default proof workflow — auto-applied to any file marked as Proof when it's uploaded into this project. See Setting the default workflow template for new assets in a project.
- Tags — press Enter or comma to add each one.
- Confirm to create the project.
Creating a project requires the Add project permission.
