Set your personal proof/viewer defaults

You can set personal defaults for how proofs and the asset viewer behave when you open them. This article covers the available personal viewer preferences.

Where to find it​

Open My Profile and select Defaults in the left sidebar. These are your personal defaults, applied to new proofs you create — they're separate from workspace-wide settings, which are managed in the Admin Console.

Access defaults​

Under the Access section:

  • Who can access — the default access level applied to new proofs:
    • Anyone with the link — public, anyone you share the URL with can open it.
    • Only invited reviewers — limited to recipients of the invite email.
    • Only people in this workspace — blocks all external guest access.
  • Guest authentication — only shown when "Anyone with the link" is selected. Choose how non-account reviewers are verified before opening a proof: Off, Email code, or Password.
  • Allow sharing forward — when checked, people with access to the proof can share it further with other reviewers.

Saving changes​

Click Save Changes to apply your defaults to future proofs, or Cancel to revert to your last saved settings.
