Set your notification preferences
You can control which events send you email or in-app notifications. This article covers the notification preference options available on your profile.
Where to find it
Open My Profile and select Notifications in the left sidebar.
Channels
Each event can be delivered through up to three channels, shown as toggle chips:
- Email — sent to your account's email address.
- Pulse — appears in your in-app activity feed.
- Chat — posts to your workspace's connected Slack or Microsoft Teams channel. This chip is workspace-level, so it's only shown to (and editable by) the workspace owner; everyone else only sees Email and Pulse.
Events are grouped under Review Actions, Workflow Events, and System / Admin, and include things like rework requests, @mentions, comment activity, asset approvals, workflow stage completions, and storage limit warnings. A lock icon and "Always on" label mark the handful of events (like critical account notices) that can't be turned off.
Muting everything
Toggle Mute all notifications to pause Email and Pulse across every event at once. Account and billing messages (like password resets and receipts) are always delivered regardless. Muting is personal — it does not affect the Chat channel, since that posts to a channel your whole team reads; use the individual Chat toggles if you want to change what's sent there.
If you previously clicked "unsubscribe" in an email (or used your mail client's own one-click unsubscribe), you may find this switch already on when you arrive — a note under the toggle explains when and how that happened, and you can turn the switch off again to resume receiving emails.
Saving changes
- Click the chip for each channel (Email / Pulse / Chat) on an event's row to toggle it on or off.
- Click Save Changes to apply your selections, or Cancel to revert to your last saved preferences.
