Change your password

You can update your account password at any time from your profile settings. This article covers changing your password securely.

Steps​

  1. Open My Profile.
  2. Click Change Password, next to your name at the top of the page.
  3. In the dialog, fill in:
    • Current Password
    • New Password — at least 6 characters (the field's placeholder suggests 8 or more as good practice).
    • Confirm New Password — must match the new password exactly.
  4. Use the eye icon inside each field to show or hide what you've typed, if you want to double-check it.
  5. Click Update Password to save, or Cancel to close the dialog without changing anything.

If the current password is wrong, the new passwords don't match, or the new password is too short, you'll see an error message and can correct the fields without losing what you already entered.
