Set your workspace's visibility mode (Open vs Restricted)

Every workspace has a visibility mode that decides what a member sees by default when they're added:

  • Everything in the workspace (Open) — best for in-house teams. Members see all projects and assets by default.
  • Only what's shared with them (Restricted) — best with clients or freelancers. Nothing is visible until you explicitly share it with them.

You're first asked to pick this during the onboarding wizard, where Edoro suggests a default based on who you said would be working in the workspace. You can change it later from the Admin Console's workspace settings.

This is a workspace-wide default, not a hard rule — it works together with per-project access levels, group permissions, and workflow-stage reviewer access. See Internal access vs shareable link access for how these layers combine.

Steps

  1. Open the Admin Console and go to workspace settings.
  2. Choose Everything in the workspace or Only what's shared with them.
  3. Save. The change applies to newly added members and to existing members without more specific access already granted.
