Which asset types support commented exports (image/PDF/video/webproof/HTML) vs which don't (audio, 3D models, archives)
Commented exports are supported for image, PDF, video, webproof, and HTML asset types, but not for audio, 3D models, or archives. This article lists what's supported and what isn't.
Supported
Commented PDF and Archive Report are available for proof-type assets of these types:
- Image
- Video
- Webproof
- HTML/MFE
Not supported
Audio, 3D model, and archive/zip proof types don't have a visual page to annotate on top of, so Commented PDF and Archive Report are left out of their download menu — there's no button that would just error. These types still support the raw file download and, if they're a proof, the comment exports (JSON/CSV/Text), since those describe the comments themselves rather than rendering them onto the asset's content.
