Video proof processing status

A newly uploaded video proof may need to finish processing before it's ready to stream. This article covers checking a video proof's processing status.

Steps

1. After uploading a video, check the asset's status badge. While the video is being encoded for streaming, the badge reads Processing in place of its usual workflow status.
2. Wait for encoding to finish — the badge updates automatically once it's done, and the asset reverts to its actual workflow status (for example, "In Review"). You don't need to refresh the page.
3. Once the badge clears, the video is ready to preview and comment on.

The Processing badge is display-only: it doesn't change the underlying workflow status, and no status-change notifications are sent while a video is still encoding.
