Secure, time-limited video proof links

Video proof streaming links are secured and expire after a limited time. This article covers how these links work.

How it works​

Video proofs stream from a CDN using a signed URL rather than a permanent public one. The signature authorizes just that video's playback path and carries an expiry — after that time, the URL stops working and a fresh one has to be issued to keep watching.

What this means for you​

  • If you leave a proof open long enough for a link to expire, reload the page to get a new, valid streaming link.
  • Signed links can't simply be copied and reused indefinitely elsewhere — access is tied to being able to reach the asset through the app (or a valid shared link) in the first place.
