Exporting proof comments as JSON

Proof comments can be exported as a structured JSON file for use elsewhere. This article covers exporting comments as JSON.

Steps

  1. Open the asset and expand its version history.
  2. Next to the version whose comments you want, click the download icon (this section only appears for proof-type assets, not standard/working files).
  3. Click Comments (JSON).

The file downloads as <asset name>-v<version>-comments.json. Each comment includes its number, author, timestamp (page or time position), version, text, creation date, resolved status, and any replies. If the version has no comments yet, you'll see a notice instead of a download.
