Exporting proof comments as CSV

Proof comments can be exported as a CSV spreadsheet. This article covers exporting comments as CSV.

Steps

  1. Open the asset and expand its version history.
  2. Next to the version whose comments you want, click the download icon (this section only appears for proof-type assets, not standard/working files).
  3. Click Comments (CSV).

The file downloads as <asset name>-v<version>-comments.csv, with one row per comment: comment number, start/end timestamp, timestamp kind, a color index per author (for spotting who said what at a glance), author name, and comment text — replies are appended inline within the text column. If the version has no comments yet, you'll see a notice instead of a download.
