Downloading the original asset file (any version)

You can download the original, unmodified file for any version of an asset. This article covers downloading original files.

From the 3-dot menu (latest version)​

  1. Open the asset's 3-dot menu from a project, folder, or the all-assets view.
  2. Click Download. The file downloads directly through your browser.

This option is hidden for webproof assets, since a webproof is a live URL under review rather than a stored file — there's nothing to download.

From the asset detail sheet (any version)​

  1. Open the asset and expand its version history.
  2. Next to the version you want, click the download icon.
  3. In the menu that opens, click Asset to download that version's raw file.

Downloading requires the "Download asset" permission. If your role doesn't include it, the option is hidden or disabled.

Multiple files at once​

Selecting several assets and choosing a bulk download queues each file one at a time and shows overall progress until every file has finished (or failed).
