Project Delivery Rate

The Project Delivery Rate card on the VR Dashboard tracks how often projects are delivered by their target date. This article covers how to read the card and what it means for your team.

This is a read-only metric tile — it reflects your projects and workflows automatically.

What it measures

Project Delivery Rate is the percentage of projects, from the trailing several months, where every workflow attached to the project's assets completed within 30 days of the project being created. A project only counts as on-time if all of its workflows finished, and finished inside that 30-day window.

How to read it

  • The headline number is the on-time percentage.
  • A warn marker appears once the rate drops below 75%, and critical below 50%.
  • Underneath, the card breaks projects down into on-time versus late (over 30 days) counts.
  • The card needs at least 5 projects before it shows a value.

Why it matters

This is the highest-level delivery signal on the dashboard — it tells you whether the content operation as a whole is running to schedule, independent of any single review or stage. When it declines, Task Completion Rate and Brief-to-Approval Lead Time are good places to look for the underlying cause.
