Change Status action
The Change Status automated action ("Change Asset Status" in the actions list) automatically sets an asset's status to a status you pick, the moment the action runs. It's a default, built-in action — you can't rename or delete it — but you configure what status it sets by creating one or more presets for it.
Archive Asset action
The Archive Asset automated action moves an asset to the archive the moment it runs. It's a default, built-in action, so it always appears in every workspace — you configure it through presets rather than editing the action itself.
Convert to Image/PDF action
Edoro ships two related default actions: Convert to Image renders a rendition of the asset as an image file, and Convert to PDF renders it as a PDF. Both run automatically when the action fires and are configured through presets.
Text Compare action
The Text Compare automated action (listed as "Ready to text compare") compares the text content between two PDF versions of an asset and flags differences when it runs. Unlike the other default actions, it doesn't take any settings — a preset for it is just a saved, nameable reference so it can be selected consistently in a stage.
Send Email action
The Send Email automated action ("Send Email Notification") sends an email to a chosen set of recipients using one of your workspace's email templates when it runs.
Hot Folder action
The Hot Folder automated action watches a folder and hands files it finds there off to a destination, either dropping the asset off (fire-and-forget) or running a full send-out/pick-up round trip.
FTP Upload action
The FTP Upload automated action pushes the asset file to a remote FTP or SFTP server when it runs. Unlike the other default actions, its presets are self-contained — each preset stores its own server connection details (including the credential), so there's no separate generic config step.
Other automated action types
Beyond the action types covered individually in this section, Edoro ships additional default automated actions, such as Smush (image/PDF compression, with separate JPEG quality and PNG mode settings, and a choice of saving the result as a new version or a new asset) and Webhook (posts an HTTP payload to a URL you configure, with optional authentication).
Connect Slack, Google Drive, and other integrations
Edoro can connect to external services — Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, AWS S3, Monday.com, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Asana, and Microsoft Teams, among others — from one workspace-wide Integrations page. Once connected, a service is available as an action you can add to any workflow stage, the same way a default action is.
